Abstract English

A 42 year old developed progressive weakness of all four limbs, which first started in distal areas, extending proximally, accompanied by sensory loss over a period of one year. The disease progressed to the extent that all Four limbs were totally paralysed and she could neither sit, move, raise her arms and legs, nor turn her side. Acupuncture treatment gave her complete relief of all symptoms after 112 treatment, and she restarted doing all her household work
