Roentgenographic examination of the nasopharynx using contrast medium is a simple procedure. It provides concise information relating to the origin of the nasopharyngeal tumor and permits an accurate estimate of the size and extent of the tumor. The roentgenographic characteristics of nasopharyngeal tumors as outlined with contrast medium are illustrated. The advantages of contrast nasopharyngography are discussed
