Abstract English

Five cases of median nerve injury, that were thought to have parial nerve damage are reported. Electromyographic [EMG] and nerve conduction studies [NCS] were done for each case revealing complete damage to median nerve in addition to double innervation of the thenar muscle. This article discusses the anatomical variation of double innervation stressing on the value of [EMG] and [IVCS] in detecting this variation
