that all Member States of the Region but one have paid their contributions to the Organization for the year 1949; 3. URGES those Member Countries of the Region who have not yet paid their contributions for 1950 to take steps to expedite payment; 4. RECOMMENDS that freer flow of medical supplies should be given adequate consideration; 5. ENTRUSTS the Regional Director to report to the Director-General on "the advisability of establishing WHO National Committees" as soon as replies to the letter sent by the Regional Director are received from countries; 6. NOTES the resolution passed by the Third World Health Assembly on emergency sanitary measures in connexion with the Mecca Pilgrimage and suggests that the countries concerned take the necessary action in this matter; 7. NOTES with satisfaction the allocations under the "Programme Supplies to Governments" to two countries of the Region.
