A clinical review is presented of the cutaneous manifestations of vasculitides confined to those associated with systemic involvement and to skin. Simulants of the vasculitides are briefly described.
A classification is made and the impact of the presence of antineutrophilic cytoplasmic antibodies is included. Hopefully, an increased awareness and appreciation of the cutaneous expressions of these entities will have been created that will promote earlier recognition and direct more effective diagnostic and therapeutic approaches
