This study was carried out on a sample of one handered and six colon cancer patient from both sex whose age ranged from 40-55 years. All patients were selected from New Kasr El-Eini Teaching
and National cancer Institute, Cairo, Egypt. Data about socio-economic status, Health status, anthropometric measurement e. g height, weight -Laboratory investigations including Blood urea nitrogen [gm/dl] - creatinine mg/dl -Alanine aminotrans [Alt U/L]. Aspartic Aminotrans [AST/ U/L] - Alkaline phosphatase U/L Total bilirubin [mg/dl] -Albumin [gm/dl] -total protein [gm/dl] -Hemoglobin level [gm/ 100ml] -glucose mg/dl - Red Blood cell RBCs 10  were recorded and 24 hours dietary recall. The majority of women patients were illiterate [57.89%], while [10.52%, 21.05and 10.52%] had primary, prepartory and high school education, respectively. Also, 28% of men were illiterate, while 18%, 6% and 2% had prepartory, secondary and university education, respectively. The majority of women 73.68% didn't practice any sport, compared with 44.11% of men. The majority of men 73.52% practice smoking.84.21% of women and 44.11% of men preferred lean meat, Also, 89.47% of women preferred food with medium salt compared with 82.35% of men. The percentage of men who used to eat sweet regularly was 41.17% compared with 31.57% of women patients. The percentage of bilirubin, albumen and glucose of women patients were higher than men patients at level p<0.001. While the percentage of creatinine of men were higher than women at levels p<0.01 on the other hand hemoglobin level of men and women were lower than normal range. It was shown that the men intake of calories, protein, fat, carbohydrate, fiber, calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium, Vit. A, thiamin, Niacine, Vit. C, Vit. B6 folic acid and cholesterol were lower than R. D. A.
