Twenty cases of chronic subdural haematoma encountered in patients admitted over a period of five years at the neurosurgical section, Shaab Teaching Hospital, Khartoum, Sudan, are presented.
subdural haematoma should be suggested in patients having a history of trauma even mild, associated with neurological deficit, fluctuation in the level of consciousness and focal convulsions with asymptomatic phase.
