Strangulation of hiatus hernia is a rare event and difficult to diagnose in emergency. We are reporting a case of 14 year old girl who was diagnosed sliding hiatus hernia since childhood but due to delayed treatment presented in emergency with perforation of stomach and generalized peritonitis.
