Subcutaneous nodules [S. C. N. ] were studied clinically and hiscopathologically in one hundred patients [91 frmales and 9 males] with rheumatoid disease. Their mean ages was [46.84] years. S.
C were recorded in 12 patients which was asymptomatic and proved by histopathologically study and rheumatoid factor was postivien all of them. Most of patients with S. C. N. [75%] were having active disease of long duration with many other extra-articular manifestations such as vascultitis, eyes manifestations, pulmonary manifestations, lymphadenopathy and neuropathy. Joint deformity was present in [75%] of patients Severe radiological changes with bony erosions were present in [50%] of them. All 12 patients with S C N had positive rheomatoid factor
